Myth #1 Marketing Means Spending Big Money On Ads
Reality: Small, authentic visibility
wins.
You don’t need billboards, radio ads, or paid campaigns to
grow your business. Some of the most effective marketing tools
are already in your pocket. Take photos of your finished jobs.
Capture the install. Show the before-and-after. These aren’t
polished ad campaigns. They’re proof of your work.
And don’t forget your Google Business Profile. It’s often the
first thing potential customers see. Updating photos, hours,
and services—and responding to reviews—takes minutes and
significantly boosts visibility.
If you do nothing else, keep your Google Business Profile
updated. That alone puts you ahead of many competitors.
Myth #2 Marketing Requires Constant Social Media Posting
Reality: One thoughtful post per
week is enough.
You don’t need to post every day. You need consistency. Aim to
share one project photo per week, highlight a client testimonial,
and showcase an installation. The goal isn’t to go viral, but
to show up consistently so customers see that you’re active,
engaged and reliable.
Post a positive review. Add a simple caption explaining what
the client needed and how you solved it. That’s marketing!
Encourage happy customers to leave reviews. Respond to those
reviews. A steady stream of recent feedback builds trust faster
than any paid ad.
