 Rising Demand for Custom
and Dimensional Signage
 Texture and Tactility: Raised
Print and Beyond
Across sectors—from retail to healthcare to education—
there is growing interest in signage that offers depth,
personality, and permanence. Sign professionals are
reporting steady demand for dimensional letters that
create a strong first impression and reflect a client’s
identity in a tangible way.
As the demand for dimensional signage grows, tactile
features are gaining traction—particularly with the rise
of advanced print layering techniques. Raised Print, which
enables textured surfaces and ADA-compliant Braille
directly onto signage, is emerging as a major player in
both the accessibility and design spaces.
Even with tighter budgets, buyers are prioritizing
customization. They aren’t just looking for a name on a
wall—they want signage that tells a story. This demand
is met with a wider range of material options: Laminate,
PVC with Colorlast, and Formed Plastic are all being
used in innovative ways to deliver signage that stands
out—both visually and functionally.
“Printing is one of our biggest focus areas,” says Nick
Dyson, Gemini Product Manager. “We showcased it at
ISA in 2025 with a 3D-printed map of the Vegas Strip,
and the reaction was incredible. People were amazed
by how much depth and detail we could produce using
a print process.”

Even with tighter budgets, people aren’t asking
for generic products. They want something that
reflects their brand story.
This technology doesn’t just make signs more eyecatching, it makes them more inclusive, aligning with
ADA guidelines and universal design principles. “Adding
ADA textures through raised printing is a game changer,”
says Sara Sachs, Gemini Associate Product Manager.
“We’re building signage that’s not just beautiful, but
functional and compliant.”
