PLAQUE ARTWORK BEST PRACTICES
Ordering plaques allows for unique customizations with art, text, and
photos. Here are a few tips to help get your artwork prepared.
File Types
When submitting artwork, we recommend sending vector-based art
files. These include .ai, .pdf, and .eps files. You can also send text typed
in a Word document noting your desired font. Though we do accept
bitmap files such as .jpeg, .png, .tif, and .bmp, we cannot use them to
cut paths and will require additional processing time.
Photo Quality
If your plaque design requires a portrait, make sure your photos
are high resolution, the subject is center focused, and there is good

that are scanned, faxed, or pixelated. Photos that are over-exposed or
contain heavy shadows may affect the quality of your portrait.

dimension, larger sizes, and a
classic look, then cast plaque may
be the solution. Comparatively,
to achieve a similar timeless
appearance, explore precision
tooled metal plaques. Inherently
durable, precision tooled metal
plaques generally cost less, are
manufactured faster, and have more
design options than cast plaques.
