TIPS & TRICKS
WHAT SIZE LETTERS DO I NEED TO
ORDER FOR OPTIMAL VIEWING?
When determining what type of signage
you may need, a fundamental part
to consider of any sign is its visibility.
Ideally, you want your signage to be big
enough to be easily read, but not too
big to where you start overspending
and use up valuable space. Below
is a chart provided by Pennsylvania
Transportation Institute, Penn State
University, and the United States Sign
Council on recommended letter sizing.

CLEANING TIPS
It is important to keep your letters
and logos clean to maintain
their original luster over time for
indoor and outdoor installations.
Depending on the installation
environment, we recommend
cleaning all outdoor and indoor
letters every few months. Make
sure to check if there are any
cleaning products or methods to
avoid with specific finishes.
Generally, metal, plastic, and
laminate products can be cleaned
with warm soapy water and a
soft cloth, rag, or sponge. Use
gentle liquid dish soap, like Dawn
Dish Soap, then dry with a soft
rag or cloth, always wiping in the
same direction as the grain.
Avoid using common harsh
detergents and chemicals such
as Ajax, Comet, or other similar
abrasive solutions as they will
scratch finishes. Similarly, using
solvent-based thinners like
petroleum distillates or abrasive
cleaners degrades finishes
resulting in product damage.
