DON’T FORGET ABOUT CUT FILES
Did you know you can request a free digital cut file to help with installation? Cut files are available upon request
for almost every project.
WHAT IS A CUT FILE?
A cut file is a digital version of the production file our team
uses to manufacture your order. It includes the precise cutting
paths and outlines for your letters or shapes, digital stud
locations, and the installation pattern for your specific order.
We send a cut file in both .pdf and .eps file types, so it works
with a variety of design and production programs. It’s a great
tool for preparing for installation, adding vinyl, or recreating
patterns for previous projects.
HOW TO GET A CUT FILE
You can ask for a cut file during the production of a new order
or for past Gemini orders. To request a cut file, email, call, or
log in to Partner Portal.
For Fabricated Metal Signs, Cast Metal
Letters, Formed Plastic Signs, and most
plaque products, stud placements are
done manually. Stud locations will not
be included in those cut files.
