Tips for Sending Artwork
When submitting artwork, we encourage you to
follow these best practices to ensure a streamlined
quote and order experience.
Preferred File Types
Photograph Quality for Portraits
We recommend sending your artwork as .ai, .eps, or .pdf,
if possible. The best file to send is a vector art .pdf. While
we accept bitmap files such as .jpeg, .png, .tif, or .bmp, we
cannot use those files to cut paths. Orders without vector art
will require more time to process.
If you add portraits to your order, it’s essential to review
the quality of the photo file. While our team reviews each
picture, photograph quality will affect the portrait details.
Photographs with exceptional quality will highlight details
through well-defined lines and even shading. Photographs
can be shared in the following file formats: .jpeg, .png, .psd,
or .tif.
Any supplied image should look crisp and clear and be free
of pixelization on your screen when enlarged. Photos that
are over-exposed, contain heavy shadows, are pixelized or
screenshotted will distort features of the portrait. Note,
photographs used for portraits will not mirror the exact
likeness of the picture to due production.
DEFINITION: VECTOR
Think of vector art like a digital stencil made of
shapes instead of tiny dots (pixels). No matter
how much you zoom in or resize it, the edges stay
perfectly sharp. Preferred file types: .ai .eps .pdf

Convert all fonts and lines to outlines or curves
If possible, avoid sending non-vector text or logos. This will
help avoid font-matching issues. Or, you can send typed text in
a Word document and indicating the desired font.

Sharing Photographs
Submit a photo separately from the vector art file.
Provide the original photo file without any edits, cropping,
or effects. If you need to show a cropped image on the
vector file, we will crop the photo on the original photo file.
