Braille and ADA Standards
Below are the ADA standards for wayfinding signage and braille. Braille should always
be left aligned and then centered on the plaque when there is more than one line. Gemini
requires that braille dot size is .063", line height is .253", as well as .14" between lines.
Any graphics on the plaque must fit
inside a 6" height minimum field.
This field spans from the inside of the
outer border to the top of the text or
any raised entity beneath the graphic.
Maximum Letter Height = 2"
Minimum stroke = .625"
Maximum stroke of the
letter cannot exceed 15% of
the letter height
Fonts must be Sans Serif
and all capital letters
